Project Introduction
The deep treatment and capacity expansion project of 50,000 tons/day of the sewage treatment plant in the eastern area of Jiang’an County Industrial Park is located in Jiang’an County Industrial Park, Yibin City, covering an area of about 60 acres, with a total investment of 490 million yuan and a designed treatment scale of 50,000 m³/d. It adopts a combination of “regulating tank + high-density sedimentation tank + denitrification deep bed filter + ozone advanced oxidation tank + rotary filter + ultraviolet disinfection tank”. The main indicators of the effluent water quality after treatment, COD, ammonia nitrogen and total phosphorus, implement the “Industrial Wastewater Treatment Plant” emission limit values in the “Water Pollutant Discharge Standard for Minjiang and Tuojiang River Basins in Sichuan Province” (DB51/2311-2016), COD≤40mg/L, ammonia nitrogen≤2.0mg/L, total phosphorus≤0.4mg/L, and the remaining pollutant indicators not included in Table 1 of DB51/2311-2016 are in accordance with the Level A standard in the “Pollutant Discharge Standard for Urban Wastewater Treatment Plants” (GB18918-2002).
Progress
On July 26, 2024, the project construction unit Jiang’an Jijiang Water Co., Ltd. organized the construction, design, geological survey, supervision and other relevant participating units to conduct the completion acceptance of the 50,000 tons/day deep treatment expansion project of the sewage treatment plant in the eastern area of Jiang’an County Industrial Park. After on-site inspection and evaluation, the construction quality and use functions met the design and specification requirements, the quality inspection was qualified, and the control data were complete and complete. They unanimously agreed to pass the completion acceptance.
Future Impact
As a key project of the central environmental protection supervision, it has been highly valued by the Party committees and governments at all levels and relevant departments since its construction. During the implementation process, Jijiang Environmental Protection actively allocated resources, overcame difficulties such as tight construction period and heavy tasks, and made every effort to ensure the construction period of the project. After the sewage treatment plant in the eastern area of Jiang’an County Industrial Park is put into operation, it will improve the water environment of the Jiang’an Economic Development Zone Industrial Park, consolidate and enhance the results of water environment governance in the Yangtze River Basin, and contribute to improving the living and ecological environment of Yibin City.
