The screen is the most important auxiliary equipment in the sewage pumping station. The screen generally consists of a set of parallel bars and is placed obliquely at the entrance of the pump station water collection tank. Its tilt angle is 60°~80°. A workbench should be set up behind the grille, and the workbench should generally be 0.5m higher than the highest water level upstream of the screen. For manual slag cleaning grates, the length of the workbench along the direction of water flow is not less than 1.2m. For mechanical slag cleaning grates, the length is not less than 1.5m, and the width of the aisles on both sides is not less than 0.7m.

Classification of Screen

The 25mm thick screen plate has average load-bearing capacity and is only suitable for people to walk. It is often used as fiberglass grating walkways, floors, cargo racks, etc. in electroplating factories and equipment factories.

The 38mm thick screen plate has a strong load-bearing capacity and is often used as a vehicle load-bearing plate, a platform for machine operation, and a drainage plate in car washes, sewage treatment plants, chemical plants, etc.

The 50mm thick screen plate has gradually increased load-bearing capacity and is widely used in large-scale construction projects, chemical engineering projects, offshore oil exploration and other places.
