Due to the high solid load and the depth of the bed, the homogeneousquartz sand filter bed allows solid impurities to penetrate the surface of the filter bed andpenetrate into the filter material to reach the depth of the entire filter tank to trap solids. When the denitrification filter completely loses the filter head, the filter must be backwashed, backwashing simulates the human hand washing and scrubbing mode,using strong air and water forcombined backwashing,The high-strenath air causes the filter bed to sliahtly expand, so that the filter materials rub each other, causing all the intercepted SS is stripped of the media, and the SS is cleared out of the filter through backwashing water. The cleaning rate reaches 100%. The backwash mode is adopted, and the backwash water does not exceed 2% of the water volumeof the treatment plant.
